PSS Mission & Board of Directors

The Port Summer Show is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. Although we work happily and cooperatively with the amazing staff of the Port Washington School District, we are a separate organization. The Port Summer Show is run by a volunteer Board of Directors made up of parents of current cast, crew & pit members. 

The 2024 summer season marks the Port Summer Show's 52th anniversary!

The goal of the Port Summer Show is to engage, educate and bring the excitement of all aspects of musical theater production to Port Washington teens, grades 7 through 12.  By producing top-quality performances, professionally directed, choreographed and conducted, we offer this diverse group of teens a safe and educational space for the summer while enriching the community through the arts.
